CHNEP Volunteers are monitoring horseshoe crabs in Sarasota, Charlotte, and Collier County - we need your help to continue this exciting program!

Please join us for a training event to learn how you can work with biologists from FWC in collecting vital scientific data about horseshoe crab populations and nesting behavior.

We will learn how to conduct surveys, collect scientific information, and tag horseshoe crabs for a nation-wide mark recapture study.
