2025 SWFL GIS Symposium

SWFAEP attended the 2025 SWFL GIS Symposium at the Lee Health Sports Complex on December 4th, 2025. Our board members George Sprehn and Sara Packard gave a brief introductory speech to kick off the start of the symposium. The exhibit hosted several key speakers that ranged from ESRI employees, Lee County staff, FGCU students, and other environmental professionals. SWFAEP represented the chapter at their conference both during networking time and connected with several potential members and those interested in expanding their environmental involvement. We want to thank the Lee County GIS team for allowing us to attend, as well as Amy Hoyt, for organizing the symposium.
